Accounts Senior (Practise Experience Required)

Carlisle or West Cumbria £45,000 - £49,500 + Bonus + Benefits

Adecco Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Senior on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice with a strong presence across Carlisle and West Cumbria.

The Role

As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting services and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparation and review of management accounts
• Corporation tax and personal tax compliance work
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Acting as a key point of contact for client queries
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• Assisting clients with business and financial matters
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
• Strong accounts preparation experience
• Good understanding of UK accounting and tax requirements
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
