Job Description:

We are working with a growing accountancy practice in Tonbridge who are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their supportive office.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across a variety of sectors.
• Preparing corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns.
• Supporting clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements, including digital record-keeping and submissions.
• Using a range of cloud-based and desktop accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
• Assisting with VAT returns, CIS, bookkeeping, and general accounting queries.
• Managing client relationships with a professional and proactive approach.

About You

• ACCA/ACA qualification, active study towards these qualifications, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team.
• A client-focused approach with strong communication skills.
