The Role

Innovation Architecture is looking for a skilled and motivated Architect or Architectural Technologist to join its team in Hessle, East Yorkshire.

We're open to candidates from either professional background. What matters most is your technical ability, industry experience and confidence in delivering high-quality architectural projects.

You'll work on a diverse range of projects, including bespoke homes, residential extensions, commercial developments and listed buildings.

From initial concepts and planning through to technical design and construction, you'll play an important role in bringing projects to life while working closely with clients, consultants and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, detailed drawings and technical specifications.
• Manage projects through planning, design and construction stages.
• Produce planning applications and building regulation drawings.
• Develop practical, creative and technically sound design solutions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities.
• Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations and planning requirements.

The Person

We're looking for someone who has:

• A background in architecture or architectural technology, with relevant qualifications and practical experience.
• Experience working within an architectural practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD – essential.
• Experience in residential and/or commercial architectural projects.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• The confidence to manage projects and work directly with clients.
