Architectural Technologist
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £34-38,000

I'm partnering with an established, award-winning multidisciplinary practice based in Wakefield that is seeking a driven Architectural Technologist to strengthen its expanding design team. Thanks to a run of recent commission wins, the team is currently handling a diverse portfolio spanning Residential, Education, and Industrial and Logistics projects.

The Role:

• Prepare and coordinate technical drawings, schedules and specifications through all RIBA Stages
• Provide technical delivery support on projects across a variety of sectors
• Liaise with consultants and contractors to coordinate project information
• Build and develop BIM models from initial concept through to completion on site
• Compile and track planning and Building Regulations applications
• Handle site queries and RFIs as they arise
• Operate effectively with limited supervision

The Ideal Candidate:

• Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT)
• Honours Degree, or an HND/HNC/Apprenticeship backed by relevant experience
• Solid experience within a UK architectural practice
• Skilled in both Revit and AutoCAD
• Thorough understanding of Building Regulations and British Standards
• Hands-on experience dealing with planning and building control
• Confident communicator who is proactive and self-directed
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
