Contract: Full-time
Pay: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS), depending on experience
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Art to join a successful secondary school in Solihull.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Art teacher to join a supportive department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, a creative approach to teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students through inspiring and personalised lessons.
The RoleAs a Teacher of Art you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students to develop their creativity, confidence and artistic skills.
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Support students in developing their knowledge and practical skills.
- Contribute positively to the wider Art department.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in achieving strong academic and creative outcomes.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
- Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and Design
- Is able to teach Art confidently to GCSE level.
- Can motivate and inspire students through engaging lessons.
- Has high expectations of students and is committed to their progress.
- Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative department.
Experience teaching A Level Art and Design would be desirable but is not essential.
