ASD Teaching Assistants - South East London

Location: South East London
Contract: Full-Time | Monday - Friday
Daily Rate: £100-£117
Start Date: ASAP

The Role

Remedy Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a school setting in South East London.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance, helping pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence and independence throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ASD.

• Support pupils with their learning, communication and social development.

• Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation.

• Follow individual education plans and tailored support strategies.

• Create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with ASD or additional needs.

• A patient, caring and proactive approach.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's development.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
