Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Banksman / Yard Marshal to support our client’s intake operation. This position offers long-term, consistent work.

Pay: £14.39 per hour
Working days: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Shift times: 06:00–13:00 or 11:00–18:00

The Role

You will monitor vehicles reversing up the intake ramp, helping to maintain a safe working environment and ensuring drivers have applied both their unit and trailer brakes once positioned.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring vehicles as they reverse up the intake ramp.

• Ensuring both unit and trailer brakes have been applied.

• Communicating clearly with drivers and site colleagues.

• Remaining alert to hazards and reporting any safety concerns.

• Following site procedures and health and safety requirements.

• Attentive, safety-conscious and confident communicating with drivers.

• Reliable and punctual, with an interest in long-term work.

• Comfortable working around large vehicles in a busy operational environment.
