Bench Joiner & Site Installer
Salary: £32,000–£45,000 per year, depending on experience

Job type: Full-time
Location: Workshop in New Addington, Croydon (CR0 0AE), with site-based installation work

We’re looking for a practical, skilled and reliable people to join our team in a varied role combining bench joinery, workshop production and on-site installation.

You’ll help manufacture high-quality bespoke joinery and furniture, then work with the team to fit and finish it on site. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is happy contributing both in the workshop and on installation projects. The balance between workshop and site work will vary according to project requirements.

Bench Joiner & Site Installer - What you’ll do

• Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery and furniture from technical drawings.
• Support workshop production, including preparing materials, machining, assembly and finishing.
• Use a range of hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery safely and accurately.
• Assist with loading, unloading and handling finished joinery with care.
• Carry out site installation, fitting and adjustments to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Keep work areas safe, tidy and organised, both in the workshop and on site.

Bench Joiner & Site Installer - What we’re looking for

• Experience in bench joinery, cabinet making, furniture production or a similar hands-on role.
• A willingness to work in both workshop production and site installation.
• Good practical skills, attention to detail and pride in the finished result.
• Experience working with different timbers, sheet materials and other joinery materials.
• The ability to read and work from technical drawings and plans.
• A reliable, punctual and organised approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• An easy commute to our workshop at CR0 0AE and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
• The right to work in the UK.

Site fitting experience, veneering and laminating skills, a relevant qualification or apprenticeship, a driving licence and a CSCS card would all be advantages.
