BMS Panel Wireman

Location: Tunbridge Wells
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000–£32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

My client is looking for a motivated and reliable BMS Panel Wireman to join their growing team based at their Tunbridge Wells office, which includes a dedicated in-house workshop.

The Role

As a BMS Panel Wireman, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of Building Management System (BMS) control panels. Working within the workshop, you will play a key role in ensuring panels are built to a high standard and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Wiring and assembly of BMS control panels from schematics and technical drawings
• Installation of components including relays, terminals, power supplies, and controllers
• Panel modification, fault finding, and testing
• Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards
• Working closely with the engineering team to meet project deadlines

What My Client Is Looking For

• Previous panel wiring experience, ideally within BMS, controls, or electrical panel manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Electrical qualifications or relevant workshop experience would be advantageous

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Standard hours are generally 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Flexibility available with either a 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break
• Overtime opportunities are available during busy periods, including evenings and weekends

Salary & Benefits

• £25,000 for candidates with limited experience
• Up to £32,000 for candidates with strong experience in a similar role
