About the Role

Our client, a successful and expanding independent estate agency, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Canterbury office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused estate agency professional with strong valuation, negotiation and leadership skills. You will take ownership of branch performance, drive new business, support team development and help grow market share across Canterbury and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the branch.
• Conduct market appraisals and valuations to win new instructions.
• Drive sales activity and maximise revenue opportunities.
• Monitor branch performance against key targets and KPIs.
• Motivate, coach and develop members of the sales team.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, buyers and local contacts.
• Oversee negotiations to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Ensure transactions progress smoothly through to completion.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and CRM records.
• Ensure compliance with industry legislation and company procedures.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing staff development.
• Identify new business, referral and cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven residential estate agency experience.
• Previous Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager or senior sales experience.
• Strong track record in valuations, winning instructions and achieving targets.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and customer service skills.
• Commercially minded with strong business development abilities.
• Good understanding of estate agency legislation and compliance.
• Proficient with CRM and property marketing platforms.
• Full UK driving licence.
