Job Description:

Recruit4staff are representing an established waste management business in their search for a Business Development Manager to cover the Kent area 

Job Details:

• Pay: Up to £40,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Company car, company phone, laptop, 20 days holiday increasing by 1 day per year up to 23 days, career development opportunities 

Job Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will manage your own sales territory, generate new business opportunities, and develop strong relationships with commercial clients. The Business Development Manager will conduct sales calls, client meetings and site visits to secure contracts, prepare quotations and proposals, carry out market research, and analyse sales performance. The successful Business Development Manager will also proactively generate leads through cold calling and door-to-door sales activity to expand the client base.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the waste management industry
• Previous experience within a B2B field sales role acquiring new business
• Experience with door-to-door sales and closing deals
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Previous experience as a Business Development Manager or similar sales professional

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Business Development Manager role within the waste management industry
