KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability Sectors.Job Title: Business / Digital Skills Tutor
Location: Centre based
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (inclusive of location uplift) - depending on skills and experience
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
- Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching qualification and/or Assessor award.
- Experience of delivering vocational training – and ideally experience of teaching or assessing Business Enterprise or Digital Skills.
- Ideally hold own NVQ Level 2,or equivalent in a Business or Digital Skills discipline.
- Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to small groups of learners.
- Must be IT Literate.
- Deliver qualifications in Business and Digital Skills, to small groups of learners within a classroom environment.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
