Job description
About the role Our Client provides [residential / home] care for older adults and people living with dementia. We need kind, reliable Care Assistants to help our residents live safe, comfortable and dignified lives.
What you will do
- Help residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and mobility
- Support residents at mealtimes and with hydration
- Spend time with residents, encourage activities and offer companionship
- Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing
- Keep accurate care records
- Follow safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures
What you need
- A caring, patient and reliable nature
- Good communication skills and spoken English
- Willingness to work shifts, including some weekends
- An enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this)
- No experience needed; full training provided
Nice to have
- Previous care experience
- Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- A full UK driving licence (for home care roles)
