Care Assistant

Pay rate: From £14.57 to £21.85 per hour, weekly pay

Our client specialises in looking after adults with brain injurys or other neurological conditions, providing rehabilitation services for adults with neurological conditions resulting from injury, illness or disease.

We are offering an exciting opportunity working within our group owned residential service in Ashford, who specialise in supporting young adults with varying needs including neurological conditions, physical and learning disabilities.

 As an Care Assistant, you must:

• Be over the age of 18 to apply
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sponsorship.
• Have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
• Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
• Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
• Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector

The duties of an Care Assistant include assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication management, promoting independence and a sense of well-being among service users.
