Support Workers – Adult Day Care Centres | East London | Learning Disabilities 

£12.71 per hour • Weekly pay • Flexible weekday shifts

Austin Dean Recruitment is looking for caring, reliable Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities in Day Care Centres across East London.

If you have at least 12 months’ recent UK adult care experience, including supporting adults with learning disabilities, we would love to hear from you.

You’ll help people take part in meaningful activities, build confidence and develop their independence, while providing compassionate support tailored to their needs.

What you’ll need

• Right to work in the UK

• At least 12 months’ recent experience in UK adult care, including working with adults with learning disabilities

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care

• An Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service

• A caring attitude, good communication skills and a reliable approach

Relevant training in:

• Epilepsy awareness

• Medication management

• Moving and handling

• Health & safety

• First aid

• Safeguarding adults and children
