Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: £32,304 to £35,305 per annum (inclusive of sleep-ins)
Employment Type: Full-time, 39 hours per week

A Residential Support Worker position is available in Waterlooville within a dedicated children’s home. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives by providing safe, therapeutic, and nurturing care in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities
As a Residential Support Worker based in Waterlooville, your daily duties will include:

• Delivering tailored therapeutic care and emotional support to children and young people in line with sector requirements such as Ofsted and CIW standards
• Acting as a positive role model to foster independence and life skills through engaging activities and support
• Organising and supporting fun and developmental activities like theme parks, fishing, football, and hiking to encourage holistic growth
• Building trusting relationships with children by providing consistent, nurturing support to help them reach their full potential
• Supporting children through challenging situations while maintaining a focus on safeguarding and sector-specific care standards

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Residential Support Worker, you will need:

• A caring, flexible, and resilient nature with excellent communication skills
• Experience in a caring, support, or similar role is desirable but not essential
• A full UK Driving Licence is required to support flexible working arrangements
• Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins, within a regulated care environment
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as Ofsted or CIW and safeguarding protocols
