An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to join an established and growing consultancy in Glasgow, working on a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering civil engineering designs from initial concept through to project completion. Responsibilities will include drainage and SuDS design, highways, access roads, car parks and external works, alongside infrastructure design for complex building developments.

The role will also involve coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing technical reports, supporting planning and statutory approvals, and embracing BIM and digital engineering solutions.

Candidates should hold a degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, with experience in infrastructure, drainage and external works design. A sound understanding of UK engineering standards and proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D are essential, together with experience of Infodrainage, Flow or similar hydraulic modelling software.

Knowledge of BIM 360, Revit and Swept Path Analysis would be advantageous. Strong communication skills, an interest in innovative and sustainable engineering, and a desire to work towards or further develop MICE Chartership are also important.
