Class 2 Driver

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay Rate: £17.00 - £21.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work based in Sittingbourne.

Working for a busy industrial transport operation, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of a variety of steel products to commercial and construction customers throughout Kent, London and the South East.

Duties Include:

• Multi-drop deliveries and collections of steel and metal products.
• Transporting loads safely and securely in accordance with transport regulations.
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Maintaining delivery paperwork and records.
• Providing a professional and reliable service to customers.
• Complying with all health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• A professional and safety-conscious attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
