Rotating Shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am)

A growing precision engineering manufacturer based in Rainham is expanding its production team and is looking to recruit multiple CNC Operators due to significant investment in a new manufacturing line.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Operator, but we are also keen to hear from individuals with machine operating, manufacturing or engineering experience who are looking to develop a long-term career within engineering and production.

With a growing team, ongoing investment, and full training available for the right individuals, this is an exciting time to join the business.

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the production of precision-engineered components within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating CNC machinery
• Monitoring machine performance and production output
• Carrying out quality checks and measurements
• Performing basic machine adjustments and tool changes
• Ensuring components are manufactured to specification
• Following production and quality procedures
• Supporting continuous improvement activities
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

• Engineering Apprentices
• Recently qualified engineering candidates

Previous CNC experience is advantageous but not essential.

More important is a positive attitude, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and an interest in engineering or manufacturing.

Successful candidates will ideally be able to demonstrate:

• Experience working with machinery or manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail
• A reliable and flexible approach to shift work
• A desire to develop new skills and progress their career
