CNC MACHINIST

UPTO £50K DOE

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

A leading precision engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join its growing machine shop team.

Working with Heidenhain-controlled CNC milling machines, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating machinery to produce large, complex components to tight tolerances.

What You Will Need

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or Milling machines.
• Strong CNC milling programming skills
• Experience with Heidenhain controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Confidence machining large components and working to tight tolerances
• Experience using inspection equipment including micrometers and verniers
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

The Role

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines
• Write and edit CNC programs
• Machine components up to 2 metres in length
• Work with Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium and Alloy Steels
• Conduct quality inspections and measurements
• Support production targets within a team environment
