CNC Setter / Operator

£32,000-£36,000 + Flexible Hours + 33 Days Holiday + Sick Pay Scheme

South Birmingham (Commutable from Birmingham, Redditch, Solihull, Longbridge and surrounding areas)

Are you an experienced CNC setter / operator looking for a stable, days-based role?

Join an established cutting tool manufacturer producing specialist tooling and bespoke components, where no two jobs are the same.

You'll work within a small, close-knit team, taking ownership of jobs from program input through to final inspection.

With flexible working hours, part-time options and excellent holiday entitlement, this is a great opportunity to achieve a better work-life balance.

The Role

• Setting and operating manual and CNC centre lathes
• Program input, machining and self-inspection
• Producing bespoke tooling blanks and one-off components
• Workshop-based, days-only role with 39 hours per week
• Flexible hours between 07:30 and 17:30, with part-time considered

The Person

• Minimum 5 years' machining experience
• Experienced in manual turning and CNC setting/operating
• Confident with engineering drawings, tolerances and inspecting own work
• Able to work independently while contributing to a small team
• Machining centre experience advantageous but not essential
