CNC Turner - Setter/Operator

Job description

Working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, our client is seeking an experience CNC Turner - Setter/Operator to join their precision engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls.

*  Setting tooling, work offsets and machine parameters.

*  Loading and adjusting programmes as required.

*  Running production machines, monitoring output and maintaining quality.

*  Inspecting components using precision measuring equipment and working to engineering drawings.

*  Identifying and resolving machining issues to maintain production efficiency and quality.

Person Requirements:

*  Previous experience setting CNC turning machines.

*  Experience with Fanuc controls.

*  Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment.

*  Sliding head experience would be an advantage, but not essential.

Salary level is based on the experience that the person has and if they have covered all the tasks previously.
