Location: Ashford, Kent
Pay: £15.00 – £16.81 per hour (PAYE)

Driver Hire Ashford is recruiting an experienced Coach Driver to support local clients across the Ashford area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for flexible, ongoing work with a variety of assignments.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating coach and passenger vehicles safely and professionally while providing excellent customer service to passengers.

Assignments may include a combination of:

• School runs
• School day trips
• Private hire day trips
• Airport runs
• Other passenger transport services

During quieter periods, we can discuss alternative driving opportunities, including van driving or HGV work for drivers who hold the relevant licence.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers to planned destinations and routes
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts
• Provide a high standard of customer service
• Comply with road traffic legislation, driver hours and safety regulations
• Complete all relevant paperwork and route information accurately

Requirements

• Full Category D (Coach/Bus) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous coach driving experience preferred
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Good understanding of driver hours and transport regulations
• Flexible approach to different types of passenger transport work
