COLD STORE / FREEZER OPERATIVE – SNETTERTON

Straight Forward Recruitment are recruiting!

We are looking for an experienced Cold Store / Freezer Operative to join a busy freeze-dried pet food manufacturing facility in Snetterton.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a cold store or freezer environment, particularly with stock picking, handling frozen products and preparing materials for daily production.

PAY & BENEFITS

• £12.71 per hour to start
• Increasing to £13.50 per hour after 12 weeks
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

⏰ WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00.

LOCATION: Snetterton

The Role

• Picking and handling stock within a cold store or freezer environment.
• Handling frozen products and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
• Preparing and supplying materials required for daily production.
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and following stock rotation procedures.
• Ensuring production teams receive the correct materials on time.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping.
• Following procedures for working safely in temperature-controlled environments.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in a cold store or freezer environment is essential.
• Experience with stock picking and handling frozen products.
• Knowledge of stock rotation and stock control.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
• A reliable, proactive approach with a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work as part of a team in a busy production environment.
