Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for Commercial Manager to join their growing team.Commercial Manager

Job Description
- Alongside the Engineering & Product Quality Manager, provide leadership, support development, and manage capacity of cross functional team.
- Closely monitor the orderbook and be able to articulate trends and drivers
- Define and implement pricing strategies on new and existing product.
- Investigate performance of existing products to verify profitability, creating an action plan.
- Lead negotiations for new contracts and contract renewals
- Manage RFQ process including Bid/No-Bid, customer communication, quote delivery and conversion whilst ensuring “buy in” from all internal departments.
- Identify opportunities and lead efforts to win new business with existing or new customers
- Produce sales plans in support of short, medium and long term planning.
- Support the companies legal obligations in relation to Export Control, Security Vetting and keep up to date with current and developing export/import regulation for military, dual use product, services & technology.
- Management of the company export security policy, operating procedures, export licensing controls, documentation & compliance including EAR & ITAR. Point of contact for related external audits with zero major NCR’s being raised.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Aerospace or Power Generation Experience
- Ability to negotiate contracts and detect risks.
- Preferably 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
