Construction Site Manager

Clearfield Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee an £8 million office-to-residential conversion project in the Bracknell / Reading area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a substantial construction project with a two-year programme of works, offering long-term stability for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the construction site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and suppliers to ensure works are delivered efficiently.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures and site regulations are followed.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme and report on any delays or issues.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Coordinate deliveries, materials and site resources.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, commercial team and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and relevant building regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
• Experience managing commercial or residential construction projects.
• Office-to-residential conversion experience would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety, quality assurance and construction programmes.
• Relevant qualifications, including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
