Customer Service Specialist – Bolton – £28,000 - £31,000Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a global manufacturing and distribution business in the Bolton area who are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Customer Service Specialist to join their passionate and dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and successful business, contributing towards the overall customer experience by supporting across the customer order process, including complex and export orders.

Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:
- Process customer sales orders accurately and within established cut-off times
- Manage complex customer enquiries, order amendments, and complaints across multiple communication channels
- Handle all levels of order complexity, including export documentation and certifications
- Support the onboarding, training, coaching, and development of new Customer Service team members
- Promote a proactive, collaborative, and positive team environment, including during challenging situations
- Act as a SME in key projects, including Salesforce, new product launches, export, customer onboarding, warehouse setups, and IT enhancements
- Attend and contribute to key meetings as required
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints in collaboration with relevant departments
- Support coordination of shipping, production schedules, inventory, and sales activities
- Prepare and maintain customer correspondence and documentation
- Build strong customer relationships and liaise with Sales to support customer needs and business growth
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Required Skills & Experience:
- Export documentation experience is essential
- Proven B2B customer service experience within a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a team and build customer relationships
- IT literate and adaptable to new software/systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Sage etc
