We are seeking a motivated and reliable 3.5-ton Delivery Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties

• Safely operate a 3.5-ton delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Plan delivery routes effectively to maximize efficiency and meet scheduled delivery times
• Load and unload parcels, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly for transit
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and proof of delivery records
• Assist in warehouse activities such as stock movement or inventory checks when needed

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
• Valid driving licence
• Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles
• Ability to lift heavy packages safely during loading and unloading processes
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics operations
• Ability to stay organised, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
