Deputy Room Manager - Early Years
Location: Near Edenbridge
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Academics is working with a fantastic nursery near Edenbridge to recruit a passionate and dedicated Deputy Room Manager to join their team. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the Room Manager in delivering outstanding care and education while helping children flourish during their early years.

As Deputy Room Manager, you will:

• Support the Room Manager with the day-to-day running of the room.
• Lead the room in the Room Manager's absence.
• Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Support, motivate and mentor Early Years Practitioners.
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies are followed at all times.
• Create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

• Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) - essential.
• Has previous experience within a nursery or early years setting.
• Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience is desirable.
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Is organised, caring and passionate about delivering outstanding childcare.
• Works well as part of a team and leads by example.
