Electronic Assembly Technician

Assembly Technicians Required St.Neots - Immediate Start Available

We are currently seeking technicians to work for one of our clients based in St. Neots, the ideal candidate will have experience in electronic assembly and be happy to work across various areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical & electrical subassemblies, and systems according to technical specifications and production guidelines.
• Interpret and follow detailed technical schematics, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate assembly and testing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, and any issues encountered during the assembly and testing processes.
• Collaborate with production engineers and quality control teams to improve assembly methods and testing procedures.
• Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and repair of production and test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Required Experience:

• Experience in assembly based work
• Ability to use small hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and production documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production and testing issues.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing and to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision.

Additional Info:

• Working hours: 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday 8.00am-1.30pm on Fridays
