Engineering Supervisor – ManufacturingLocation: Henlow, Bedfordshire
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Interaction Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join an established manufacturing company based in Henlow.
The successful candidate will oversee engineering activities, support machinery improvements and lead projects to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities-
Supervise engineering activities across the manufacturing site.

Oversee maintenance, improvements and modifications to production machinery.

Lead engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support the design, development and installation of manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
-
Work with high-speed machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
-
Liaise with production teams, management and external suppliers.
-
Manage project costs and present improvement proposals.
-
Support and develop engineering team members.
-
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
-
Previous engineering supervisory or project leadership experience.

Strong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.

Experience working with high-speed manufacturing machinery.

Good understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Experience with machinery improvements and engineering projects.
-
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
