Our leading food manufacturer with sites situated across the UK is looking for an Multi Skilled team leader to join there team. As an Engineering Team Leader you will play a key part in minimising downtime, planning PPM’s, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating shift engineers
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Supporting continuous improvement projects
• Driving engineering standards and uptime
• Prioritising breakdowns and engineering workload
• Supporting apprentices and developing engineers
• Working closely with production teams
• Managing contractor activity on site
• Supporting shutdowns and project work
• Monitoring downtime and recurring faults

Ideal Candidate:

       •    NVQ Level 3 / HNC/ ONC / HND / or equivalent

• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance background
• Experience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Fault finding experience on production machinery
• Strong communication skills
• Experience using CMMS
