Estimator

Location: Essex
Salary: Up to £55,000 

An excellent opportunity for an Estimator to join a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-profile commercial projects. This role offers genuine career progression, with a clear pathway to Senior Estimator, manging Estimator and beyond.

The Role

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.

• Review drawings, specifications and project documents.

• Carry out take-offs and pricing for specialist construction packages.

• Obtain and assess supplier quotations.

• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the tender process.

• Attend pre and post-tender meetings where required.

• Support project handovers following successful tenders.

What We're Looking For

• Previous estimating experience within construction.

• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

• Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Experience with estimating software is beneficial.
