Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their growing workshop team. Working from detailed engineering drawings, you'll be responsible for fabricating and welding a range of bespoke structural steelwork and fabricated assemblies to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding structural steelwork and bespoke metal fabrications.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately.
• Measuring, marking out, cutting and preparing materials.
• MIG welding mild steel to a high standard.
• Assembling fabricated components ready for inspection and installation.
• Using workshop machinery, hand tools and power tools safely.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets required specifications.
• Working closely with the design and installation teams to deliver projects on time.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder is essential.
• Strong MIG welding experience (TIG experience would be advantageous).
• Ability to read and work from engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Experience fabricating and welding structural steelwork and bespoke fabrications.
• Good understanding of fabrication techniques and workshop practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated.
