Factory Labourer

Job description

We are currently seeking a Factory Labourer to work within a busy manufacturing facility in Birtley. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the manufacturing team with material preparation

• Accurately measuring materials in readiness for production

• Manual handling and movement of raw materials (including the use of FLT training provided)

• Following detailed instructions for various product types

• Meeting daily production targets

Requirements:

• Physically fit – manual lifting is a key part of the role

• Good numerical skills – confident working with measurements

• Willingness to work across all three shifts

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

Shift Pattern:

• Day Shift: Monday to Saturday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

• Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm

• Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am

You will work one Saturday every three weeks due to the rotating shift pattern.
