Galvanizing Operatives Required

Location: Sittingbourne

Temp-Perm Shifts Available:

• 06:00 - 14:00pm
• 14:00 - 22:00pm
• 22:00- 06.00am

• £13.43 per hour - Hours worked between 06:00 and 18:00
• £14.49 per hour - Hours worked between 18:00 and 22:00
• £20.15 per hour - OT Rate - Time and a half

Major Recruitment is currently recruiting Galvanizing Operatives on behalf of our well-established client based in Sittingbourne.

Our client provides a complete surface treatment service, including:

• Shot Blasting
• Hot Dip Galvanizing
• Powder Coating
• Duplex Coating

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing manufacturing business offering ongoing work and premium overtime rates.

As a Galvanizing Operative, your duties will include:

• Preparing steel products for the hot dip galvanizing process
• Operating a range of hand and power tools safely
• Loading and unloading materials
• Carrying out general production and manual handling duties
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times

The ideal candidate will have experience in galvanzing one or more of the following sectors:

• Engineering
• Manufacturing
• Production
• Warehouse

A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience. You can be trained from scatch, this is a hands on physical job working with metal.

Successful candidates at Interview will complete a 2-day induction and training programme before starting the role.
