Groundworker

Job description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out a range of groundwork duties, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

• General groundwork on construction sites.
• Excavating foundations, trenches and drainage systems.
• Installing drainage, ducting and underground services.
• Laying kerbs, paving and concrete.
• Preparing and levelling ground.
• Operating site equipment where qualified.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures.

• Previous groundwork experience.
• Valid CSCS card required.
• Good knowledge of groundwork and site safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence advantageous.
• Dumper, roller or excavator tickets beneficial.
