🚧 PIPELAYER REQUIRED – BURY ST EDMUNDS 🚧

💰 Competitive Rates – CIS / Self-Employed
📍 Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
📅 Duration: 6 months initially, with the potential for longer-term work
🏗️ Start: Immediate / ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and skilled Pipelayer to join an established Groundworks contractor on a long-term project in Bury St Edmunds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a competent operative with a strong background in deep drainage and below-ground pipe installation.

The successful candidate will need experience in:

• Deep drainage and pipelaying.

• Installing below-ground drainage systems and pipework.

• Working in deep excavations and confined trench environments.

• Setting out and laying pipes to accurate levels and gradients using laser equipment.

• Working with trench boxes, shoring and other excavation support systems.

• Reading and working from site drawings and specifications.

• Following strict health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pipelayer on groundworks projects.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Confident working in deep excavations.

• Good understanding of excavation safety and safe working practices.

• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Additional tickets / qualifications advantageous:

• CPCS / NPORS.

• Confined Spaces certification.

• National Water Hygiene (EUSR Blue Card).

• Relevant lifting and excavation safety qualifications.

💥 6 months' work available initially, with the potential for a much longer run for the right person.
