Head of Health, Safety & Training | Up to £70K + Benefits | Maidenhead

We are seeking a Head of Health, Safety & Training to develop and implement robust safety strategies, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and fostering a proactive safety culture. The successful candidate will be pivotal in guiding senior leadership and managing a team dedicated to health and safety excellence.

The role involves:

• Developing and delivering the organisation's H&S strategy aligned with business goals
• Advising senior leadership on H&S risks, trends, and legal obligations
• Managing compliance, audits, and external inspections
• Overseeing emergency planning, risk mitigation, and incident investigations
• Providing training and guidance to management and staff across multiple sites

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification and be a chartered IOSH member or working towards it
• Demonstrate extensive experience in senior H&S leadership within diverse and complex environments
• Possess excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and strategic influencing skills
• Be confident in decision-making, with a strong track record of cultivating a positive safety culture
