Job description
We’re recruiting Healthcare Assistants for residential care homes in and around Yeovil. Day, night and weekend shifts are available now, and you choose the shifts that suit you.
Pay
- Weekdays: £12.71/hr days, £13.33/hr nights
- Saturdays: £13.33/hr days, £14.14/hr nights
- Sundays: £13.50/hr days, £14.85/hr nights
- Bank holidays: £15.39/hr days, £16.36/hr nights
What you’ll do
- Help residents with washing, bathing, dressing, eating and going to the toilet
- Move and handle residents safely
- Keep care plans and records up to date on a computer
- Encourage residents to take part in activities
- Help with cleaning and laundry when needed
What you’ll need
- The right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- A practical moving and handling certificate
- Safeguarding adults and children training
- An Oliver McGowan training certificate
No previous care experience is needed. If you don’t have all the training yet, apply anyway and we’ll talk you through how to get it.
This is temporary agency work, paid through an umbrella company of your choice.
