Heavy Plant Engineer – MobileLocation: Maidstone (Southeast)
Salary: £20+ per hour – £50,000–£60,000+ OTE
Hours: Full-time, Permanent - 40 Hrs a week
Benefits: Door-to-door pay, overtime and company van
Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Mobile Heavy Plant Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong mechanical background to work on a range of heavy plant and construction machinery, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs in the field.
The Role
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy plant and construction machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Attend breakdowns and complete repairs on customer sites.
- Complete inspections, service reports and maintenance paperwork.
- Deliver a professional service to customers across your assigned area.
- Previous experience as a Plant Engineer, Heavy Plant Fitter or Mobile Plant Technician.
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
- Experience working on heavy plant or construction machinery.
- Able to work independently and manage a mobile workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
- £20+ per hour, depending on experience.
- Door-to-door pay.
- £50,000–£60,000+ realistic OTE, including overtime.
- Company van and tools.
- Full-time, permanent employment.
