Your duties will include

• Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle in line with road traffic laws and working time regulations
• Completing trunking, trunk runs or general haulage deliveries as required by the client
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
• Ensuring all paperwork, collections and deliveries are completed accurately
• Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with depot teams and customers
• Adhering to all site procedures, load security requirements and health & safety standards
• Communicating effectively with transport planners and site staff throughout your shift

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and compliance
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude
