Contract Type: Temporary (ongoing)

Salary: £15.31 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00AM-14:00PM (37 hours)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join Dorset Council's Waste & Recycling team on an ongoing temporary basis.

What you'll be doing

• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles on designated waste and recycling collection routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
• Working as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to local communities
• Communicating professionally with members of the public when required

What we're looking for

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence
• A reliable and positive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A strong commitment to working safely
