Job Description:

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Wag and Drag Driver – Gravesend, Kent

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Wag and Drag Driver to join a well-established recycling and waste management company based in Gravesend, Kent.

This is a long-term opportunity offering stable work, competitive pay and a guaranteed 45-hour contract.

Pay & Benefits

• £17.00 per hour
• £20.00 per hour on Saturdays
• Guaranteed full Saturday day rate
• Guaranteed 45 hours per week
• One-hour paid break each day

Working Pattern

• Week 1: Monday to Friday
• Week 2: Monday to Saturday
• Five-day rota, including some weekend work
• Flexible start times available

Main Duties

• Driving HGV Class 1 Wag and Drag vehicles
• Transporting recycling and waste materials
• Carrying out local and regional collections and deliveries
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Following all health, safety and transport regulations
• Completing relevant paperwork

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Wag and Drag experience preferred
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
