HGV Technician
Location: Dartford
Shifts: Days and Night Shifts Available
Hours: 40.25 hours per week
Salary: £25.67 per hour
We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional fleet maintenance team based in Dartford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician looking for a competitive hourly rate, stable employment, and the chance to work on a modern fleet of trucks and trailers within a well-established operation.
The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of commercial vehicles to the highest safety and operational standards. Duties will include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
• Diagnosing faults and completing effective mechanical and electrical repairs
• Conducting safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT
• Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
• Maintaining accurate job records and documentation

About You To be successful in this HGV Technician role, you should have:

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) preferred
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar commercial vehicle maintenance role
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
