HGV Technician - Maidstone | £20-£24 per hour + excellent benefits

We're recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a busy commercial vehicle dealership in Maidstone. If you're an HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter looking for a stable workshop role, you'll benefit from competitive pay, a structured working environment and varied truck servicing, diagnostics and repair work.

• You'll earn £20-£24 per hour, depending on experience.

• You'll build your commercial vehicle maintenance experience within a professional dealership workshop.

You'll keep heavy goods vehicles safe, reliable and ready for the road through:

• Carrying out HGV servicing, routine maintenance and vehicle repairs.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Completing preventative maintenance inspections and vehicle safety checks.
• Preparing commercial vehicles for MOT tests and completing rectification work.
• Repairing faults across engines, transmissions, braking systems and suspension.
• Following manufacturer guidelines and dealership workshop standards.
• Completing accurate job cards, inspection sheets and maintenance records.

This opportunity would suit an experienced HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter with:

• A strong background in heavy goods vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Practical experience with commercial vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Knowledge of MOT preparation, safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
• A reliable, organised approach and commitment to quality workmanship.
• The ability to work independently and alongside the wider workshop team.
