What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Support pupils with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, Complex Needs and Learning Difficulties
• Lead whole-class learning and small group interventions
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and school leaders
• Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs

• An experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• A Cover Supervisor looking to work within specialist education
• A Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career

• Experienced working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEND)

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an HLTA or within a school setting
• Confidence managing classroom behaviour and leading learning
• A caring, patient and positive approach to supporting young people
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexibility to work across schools in Medway and Swale
• A genuine passion for helping every child reach their potential
