Interim Finance Manager – Local Authority | Surrey
- Contract duration: 6 months
- Day rate: £400–£500
- Working arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days on-site and 3 days remote
- Sector: Local Government / Public Sector Finance
Key responsibilities
- Financial planning, budget monitoring and forecasting.
- Management reporting and variance analysis.
- Supporting budget holders with financial advice and decision-making.
- Ensuring financial controls, governance and compliance with local authority regulations.
- Supporting year-end accounts, audit requirements and financial reporting.
- Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to improve financial performance and value for money.
