Junior Account Manager
Cambridgeshire | Office Based with Potential for Hybrid Working
Full Time, Permanent
£30,000 - £40,000 P.A (DOE) + Bonus

In a nutshell…

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager or sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and growing existing accounts.

You will take ownership of your customer portfolio, gaining a strong understanding of each customer's business, requirements and future plans. By developing trusted relationships and understanding their needs, you will identify opportunities for account growth and ensure long-term customer retention.

What's involved for the Junior Account Manager…

• Manage and develop an established portfolio of customers
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
• Act as the key point of contact for your allocated accounts
• Develop a detailed understanding of each customer's business, requirements and future plans
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase customer spend
• Introduce additional products and packaging solutions where appropriate
• Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
• Manage pricing, quotations and commercial negotiations with customers
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered effectively
• Resolve customer queries and issues promptly and professionally

What you'll need…

• MUST have experience in external sales, account management
• Proven experience managing and developing existing customer accounts
• A strong track record of retaining customers and delivering account growth
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
