Junior Engineer

Job description

RTL Group, in partnership with our client, is looking for a motivated Junior Site Engineer to join their team on industrial and earthworks projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out site surveying and setting out.
• Survey and check earthworks layers and levels.
• Mark out and record testing points.
• Assist with compaction and material testing.
• Check works against drawings and specifications.
• Maintain survey records, QA documentation and as-built information.
• Support the site management and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering qualification or relevant experience.
• Basic surveying and setting-out knowledge.
• Understanding of earthworks and construction levels.
• GPS, levels and total station experience advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
